What is AirCar?

AirCar - is a car that uses a special motor powered by “compressed air”.
It can be usually combined with gas or diesel. First models like: AirPod, CityFlowAir or OneFlowAir will be available on the world market (India and Europe) approx. at the beginning of  2013-2015, but not earlier as planned. Some years ago, MDI Enterprises has declared, that first AirCars we can see in year 2007. Now, we hope to see some of them on the market in 2-3 years. The main developer Guy Negre has already signed some deals around the world, to bring its "products" to 10 more countries. Israel, Germany and some countries in South Africa. US citizens may never see this "green child", because of crash tests. The fiberglass construction is very light and could be dangerous in crashes on the usual roads.

About

The first models of Amodels are: onecat, citycat, minicat and multicat (developed by MDI Group of companies, Guy Negre). Tata Motors (India), as planned, have to be the first company, who will bring it up on the world market. As TATA Motors planned, the first aircars will be available only in Europe: France, Spain, Germany, Italy and, of course, in India . Tata motors Ltd. ist one of the largest car manufacturing company in the world, and the largest auto manufacturer in India.

Some words about developers.

As we see, nowadays there are enough a lot of private investors and different companies, who are interested in this invention and future production.
In year 2007 Indian biggest car manufacturer had planned to build and sale those Aircars in cooperation with MDI Enterprises. During this time, the company has announced some times that this technology is “in development”. As a consequence, this cars couldn’t be launched in the next years. As of December 2009, Indian manufacturer has publicly said, that the limited range and low engine temperatures is the main reason for the delay.
